To me green is being an earth friendly and penny wise consumer. Lately I have heard customers talking about " throwing away" their furniture. It positivity gives me the chills. The sensible solution is to recover or refurbish by slipcover or upholstery-rather than adding your furniture to the landfill. Slip covering is suitable for furniture which is structurally sound. It is a cover which can be removed for cleaning and replaced seasonally. Upholstery renews your furniture. Customers comment that they "can buy new" for what upholstery costs...I always respond that after your furniture is re-upholstered it IS NEW.
